As the Baden-Württemberg AI Alliance, an association of six regions in the state, we have set ourselves the goal of creating an AI ecosystem that is competitive throughout Europe. To achieve this, we rely on the principle of regional community management. And this is also supported by the state government.
Advantages of community management
- AI close at hand: Regional Community Managers in Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Neckar-Alb, Freiburg, Northern Black Forest and the Ostalbkreis are available as local contacts.
- Network boost: Valuable contacts can be made with other AI enthusiasts, experts and companies from the respective region.
- Knowledge transfer: AI skills can be expanded through workshops, events and exchanges with others.
- Focus on SMEs: Small and medium-sized enterprises receive tailored support in the development and implementation of AI projects.
Six regions, eleven strong representatives
Each of the six regions has its own community management team, which works to promote the interests of its area and create and strengthen networks. "We deliberately opted for the regional approach. Networking is the key to success. By exchanging knowledge and experience, sharing resources and pooling expertise, we can accelerate the development and application of AI in Baden-Württemberg," says Tobias Kenner, Head of Marketing at the AI Alliance.
Support from the state
Community Management is being funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism with around 2.43 million euros. "With the 'Community Management' project, the state-wide AI competencies of the partners of the KI-Allianz BW eG will be bundled even more strongly and synergies will be created," said Minister Dr. Hoffmeister-Kraut.
