Together with our comrades, we are forming a strong alliance and thus helping to develop Baden-Württemberg into a leading location for artificial intelligence.
The KI-Allianz Baden-Württemberg cooperative brings together local authorities, chambers of industry and commerce, research institutes and public institutions. Together, we want to drive forward the development and application of artificial intelligence. Through cooperation, knowledge exchange and scalable projects, we are creating astrong AI innovation network that creates synergies and strengthens Baden-Württemberg as an AI location in the long term.
The Baden-Württemberg AI Alliance will help to exploit the potential of artificial intelligence by coordinating regional activities in the field of artificial intelligence and strengthening cooperation between science, business and politics. The aim is to promote pioneering AI solutions, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and make Baden-Württemberg a leading location for AI developments.
The competitiveness of our domestic companies and thus of Baden-Württemberg, Germany and Europe in general depends crucially on whether we succeed in playing a leading role in the field of AI. The KI-Allianz Baden-Württemberg eG can make an important contribution to this with its focus on and services for small and medium-sized enterprises, its extensive networks and a realistic assessment of opportunities and risks

The development and application of AI is fundamentally changing the way companies in Neckar-Alb work across all sectors. In order to remain competitive, it is essential for them to inform themselves and network across regions. The Baden-Württemberg AI Alliance aims to enable them to do just that. As a supra-regional initiative, it aims to bring small and medium-sized companies together with science and politics in order to develop and implement practice-oriented solutions. It can also serve as a platform for companies to network with international players and gain access to global AI developments and use cases. And not to forget: The AI Alliance can add its voice to discussions around the European AI regulation and international AI standards.
The AI Alliance Baden-Württemberg has the task of acting as a driver of innovation and bringing together the many different players: Companies, research institutions, universities and political decision-makers. Through its work, it aims to develop practical support services for companies, promote the transfer of knowledge and help small and medium-sized enterprises to exploit the potential of AI.
AI development at the technological level is so rapid that it is not easy to design and develop the right AI system for a given task, but one that is also future-proof. This makes it all the more important to have a precise understanding of the functionality and quality requirements of the AI system, also taking into account the regulatory framework conditions, and to develop an open and flexible solution for this. This can only be achieved through constant exchange with specialist, AI and IT experts within the framework of an AI ecosystem and in line with the latest findings from AI research. It is the task of the AI Alliance to facilitate and promote this exchange through technological tools as well as networking between the players.
Through the diverse offerings of its members, joint marketing and a coordinated location policy, the alliance can create synergies, promote Baden-Württemberg as an AI hotspot and make it even more visible internationally
